Women and the War

This is a great collection of posters recruiting women for roles in support of the war effort. I’m increasingly fascinated by the role women played in the war, particularly as I consider the fact that Melville Jacoby’s wife, Annalee, was one of the first female war correspondents (and the first woman to be editor of The Stanford Daily).
